Ricardo Mimoso serves as a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance, and Tax practices at Deynecourt.

Ricardo provides advice to both regulated and unregulated investment funds on their structuring and formation, regulatory and tax matters. He also brings experience in regulatory matters such as AIFMD, MiFID II, PSD2, distribution and blockchain.

Before joining Deynecourt in 2024, Ricardo practiced law in Portugal and served as an in-house counsel for over several years at an investment bank specialising in investment funds, securities trading, depositary services, and crypto assets.

Ricardo has accumulated several years of experience in banking and finance, corporate, and tax matters related to the financial sector through his work with financial institutions, law firms, and Big 4 consulting firms.

Ricardo is fluent in English and Portuguese, and has a moderate proficiency in French and Spanish.
