Corporate Services and Tax
Gabor Kacsoh serves as principal to the Private Wealth, Corporate Services and Tax practices. At Deynecourt, Gabor focuses on advising high net worth individuals (HNWIs) and global families, entrepreneurs, corporate clients, family offices and institutional clients, such as private equity firms, investment management companies and property holding companies, as to the structuring of cross-border transactions and joint ventures making use of unregulated corporate and investment structures available in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. In his work, Gabor concentrates on the legal structuring of investments in asset classes such as private equity and real estate, with special attention to estate planning, asset protection and taxation aspects. Gabor also works on corporate reorganisations, focusing on investments in the geographic region of Central and Eastern Europe, where he has gained relevant experience at transactional level, advising also on exit strategies and actively managing exits from investments.
Gabor has built his career in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, first at a major financial institution, working in private wealth management and corporate engineering. In 2002, Gabor joined a leading corporate services firm in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg where he was member of the executive board. Prior to joining Deynecourt, Gabor held the position of principal at another Luxembourg law firm. He is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences addressing investment structuring topics. Gabor is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the International Bar Association (IBA), as well as the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA).
Gabor holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree specializing in international tax law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna/Austria. He is not admitted to the Luxembourg Bar.
In addition to his native German, he is fluent in English, French and Hungarian.
